Manufacturing processes are processes to produce geometrically defined, solid parts, e.g. from raw materials or semi-finished goods. These parts are made manually or with machines by creating, changing or maintaining the shape of the workpiece to be processed. To simplify matters, we refer to DIN 8580 as orientation and group the machinery according to the standardised categories.
